Mainsaver User Conference 2009 Dates Announced

Annual UK & Ireland customer event reinstated after three-year hiatus

The next Mainsaver User Conference will take place on 21st-22nd May 2009, Spidex Software has announced. Spidex’s Managing Director Jonathan Starling commented: "User Conference was always one of the most eagerly awaited events in the Mainsaver customer calendar and it’s a tradition we are delighted to reinstate."

Spidex New Office - We are on the move!!

Following continued expansion and success

Spidex Software Limited are moving to new offices and severing the longstanding ties of Mainsaver to the Aston Science Park. We will be moving as of the 14th April 2008, with the move our telephone and fax numbers will change, including a new dedicated support number. Please see the "contact us" page for details.

Royal Hospitals selects Mainsaver v.10 to drive department strategy

The Royal Hospitals, Belfast has made the decision to move to version 10 of Mainsaver.

The Royal has used Mainsaver extensively for labour tracking, stock control and purchasing over the last 4 years and upgrading to the latest version ensures that they remain completely up to date in delivering a safe and effective healthcare environment. This project will also see the introduction of Mobile Mainsaver, a PDA solution designed specifically to enable departments to manage work across large geographical areas where standard PC access is difficult.

Ideal Boilers have joined Spidex with their upgrade to the latest Mainsaver version 10.1.

Ideal Boilers have been Mainsaver users for 4 years and have constantly driven to improve the use and uptake of the system on the site. With the latest upgrade Ideal are looking at introducing a link between Mainsaver’s Inventory Module and their SAP system, ensuring that the engineering team have a single point of access to up to date information regarding parts availability and usage. CBS Outdoor successfully bid for the £multi-billion London Underground advertising contract which extends through until 2014, and the company is leading the way in the introduction of cutting-edge digital media including LCD displays on thoroughfares, DEPs (Digital Escalator Panels) on escalators and Cross Track Projectors for the station platforms.

Spidex announce new appointment

Spidex Software Limited are delighted to announce the appointment of Pete Jordan as Professional Services Director.

Pete comes from an engineering background and has 8 years experience of implementing Mainsaver into a number of different industry sectors whilst at MVI Technology. Pete moved back into industry and has been working with Mainsaver and process control systems at Allied Bakeries in West Bromwich for the past 2 years.

The key drivers will be to continue to deliver sustainable change within engineering departments enabling the introduction of best practice techniques and methodologies to help drive continuous improvement and engineering strategy.

He is delighted to be heading up the Professional Services team including Project Management and Support, and starts at the beginning of March 2007

Spidex Software appointed as Master 'Distributor for UK and Ireland'

Spidex Software is the first critical spoke in the new Mainsaver European market expansion strategy program, working closely with the newly formed Center for Excellence based in Dresden.

San Diego, CA, Birmingham, England, October 13, 2006 - Mainsaver, today announced the appointment of Spidex as Master Distributor for the UK and Ireland. Spidex will be headed by Jonathan Starling, formally of MVI Technology, and staffed and supported by a group of senior business and technical professionals possessing over 50 years of experience with Mainsaver Software

Spidex Software activity will have a dual focus of supporting the installed Mainsaver client base in the UK and Ireland and introducing the new 10i Mainsaver software. Spidex will initially offer local professional services such as installation and training and utlitise the newly formed Center for Excellence in Dresden for custom programming and interface design.

Mainsaver opens European Headquarters 'Center for Excellence'

European Headquarters opened to meet exponential growth of Mainsaver installations throughout Europe. Klaus Schillert named, Managing Director and Helmar Lieber, Chief Technical Officer.

San Diego, CA, Dresden, Germany, October 7, 2006 - Mainsaver, today announced the opening of it’s newly formed Center for Excellence in Dresden, Germany. Opened to meet the growing needs of the rapidly expanding European installed base, the new office has over 50 years of experience with the Mainsaver CMMS product. Initially, the Center for Excellence, will be the lead developers of the Mainsaver 10i product. Mainsaver 10i is the first Mainsaver release to incorporate multi language support and international features and functionality.
